Enjoy Armenian Cuisine at Yerevan, Now Open in DC
New to DC, Yerevan serves delicious Armenian cuisine. As soon as you step through the doors of this cafe-meets-market, you’ll be met with a quaint-sized cafe with pale yellow-colored walls and a cozy arrangement of chairs and tables. It’s a peaceful setting to sit for awhile and read your favorite novel or meet up with friends for a tasty lunch. They have a few tables and chairs in front of the shop as well, for when the weather is nice, and you want to enjoy the fresh outdoors with a glass of wine in hand.
You’ll find original items on the menu, from Lahmajun Armenian pizza to Pirojki potato stuffed dumplings, Olivie salad, and eggplant rolls. The desserts include homestyle baklava, Napoleon cake, and cigarette, a unique Armenian pastry baked with walnuts and powdered sugar. A few of their beverages are Armenian coffee, tea, and tan yogurt drink, along with Armenian beer and wine that will be added to the menu soon.
