Slurp Some Ramen at Basebowl, Now Open Near Nationals Park

If you’re a ramen enthusiast, you’ve probably tried the classic tonkotsu and miso varieties. But it’s unlikely you’ve ever encountered anything quite like the Super Basebowl. The massive bowl of ramen for two is packed with eight ounces of tender ribeye, plump jumbo shrimp, mushrooms, seaweed, cabbage, sugar snap peas, scallions, corn, bean sprouts, and a fried egg—the actual broth comes on the side. It’s one of the signature ramen creations at Basebowl, a new spot near Nationals Park.

Basebowl has options to suit all comfort levels during these difficult times, including curbside pickup and delivery, along with limited indoor and outdoor seating. If you do decide to sit inside or come in to pick up your food, note that social-distancing and mask-wearing are both enforced. No matter how you decide to dine, you’ll have full access to a menu of not only creative ramen bowls, but also small plates like poke tuna nachos, dumplings stuffed with everything from pork to shrimp, and bento boxes.
